Title / Position: External Evaluator Pool

Location: Dayton, OH (evaluators can be located elsewhere; Ohio preferred)
Hours / Full or Part Time: Part-time
Time period (e.g., permanent, 2 year contract, etc.): Varies based on grant
Description of position: The Grants Development Office is seeking qualifications from external evaluators willing to assist the proposal planning team in the writing of an evaluation section prior to proposal submission and to serve as the project evaluator if the proposal is funded. Qualifications will be kept on file for one year and evaluators for specific projects will be selected based upon best fit for the type of grant application and the capabilities and experience of the evaluator. The pre-award writing must be a pro-bono contribution. In return for this pro-bono contribution, the Grants Development Office will:
· Name the project evaluator in the proposal.
· Include a description of the evaluator credentials and expertise in the proposal.
· Incorporate the evaluation section in the proposal.
· Include the evaluator in the project budget.
Education / experience requirements:
o At least five years of evaluation experience
o A demonstrated track record in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods evaluation
o Education and training in evaluation
o A demonstrated capacity to accomplish the external evaluation of grant-funded projects and programs.
