Title – Director, Quality Improvement

Hours - Full-time, exempt

Time period - Permanent

Description of position

This position is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring a system of quality management in our behavior health care agencyImplements and coordinates  program evaluation and quality improvement functions within all Netcare programs, including monitoring programs for compliance with quality standards, implementing tools used for programs and service evaluation, and organizing data collection and information analysis.

Education / experience requirements

BS/BA degree (preferably in Business Administration, Statistics or Mathematics) plus three years experience in quality improvement or statistical analysis. Experience in a behavioral health care setting is preferred.

Candidates must:

 

  •  be a licensed Social Worker or Counselor, Registered Nurse, or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) with at least one year of quality improvement or utilization management experience, preferably in behavioral healthcare, OR
  • have a bachelor's degree with two years of quality improvement or utilization management experience, OR
  • have a Master's degree in a health care related field.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Access and Excel, including the use of pivot tables.  Experience in the use of Crystal Reports in health care data reporting setting is highly desired.
