The Senior Business Systems Analyst in Commercial Education, supports Professional Diagnostics, Molecular Diagnostics, and Tissue Diagnostics through Commercial Education, in data driven decision making. The Senior Analyst provides assessment and evaluation expertise to determine individual and team performance requirements, identify gaps and potential causes of performance issues, and to recommend performance improvement interventions that will enhance individual and team efficiency and effectiveness. Using predictive analytics and other data techniques, the Senior Analyst will also assist in answering the needs of our customers by determining behavior patterns and expressed learning needs.

In addition, the Senior Analyst partners with each training function in Commercial Education to measure the effectiveness of specific interventions, learning transfer, and impact on the operation. Under guidance from the Manager, Commercial Education Technology, this person will not only lead the implementation and execution of a training analytics platform, but will also be involved in driving other technology-related projects in support of Commercial Education.

Additional Responsibilities

• Acts as measurement and analysis subject matter expert by staying abreast of front-end assessment and evaluation best practices.
• Serves as project manager and consultant to Commercial Education on measurement and analysis projects.
• Facilitates focus groups and other data collection methodology to identify individual and organizational challenges typical of an aggressively growing, industry-leading company
• Prepares and delivers customized written reports and oral presentations to internal customers and senior leadership.
• Serves as a team member on initiatives, providing expertise on data collection, analysis, and use of results in decision-making.
• Share knowledge and skills both within and outside of Commercial Education, advancing the culture of measurement within Roche Diagnostics and in the professional community.
• This position is based in Indianapolis, IN. Qualified candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius or be willing to relocate.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
• 5 years of business/systems analysis/predictive analytical experience
• Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, relational database, SQL and PC skills. Metrics That Matter experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to build, develop and implement appropriate technical solutions to address business needs
• Comprehensive experience analyzing and solving business situations
• Experience presenting information to diverse audiences including senior leadership
• Previous project management experience preferred
