Director of Evaluation

Franklin County Children Services is looking for an experienced administrator with excellent evaluation skills to serve as Director of our Evaluation Department.  This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a program of evaluation that will provide usable information about organizational planning, structure effectiveness, client outcomes and outcomes of purchased services.  The Director will be responsible for promoting the professional development and ensuring high quality work from 4 direct reports.  Must be able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders. 

Proven success with using data to promote improved outcomes for clients will be highly valued.  High level of skill with spreadsheets, databases (SQL), statistical software, geographic information software used in conjunction with the analysis of administrative databases for performance reporting and evaluation is highly desired.  Experience with surveys of human service client populations preferred.  Masters degree in human services, education, public policy, statistics or related field with several years’ experience including supervision is desired.  Knowledge of the Child and Family Services Review (CFSR) for child welfare systems a plus.  Good salary and excellent fringe benefits.
