Statement of Purpose
Funding has been included in an award from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women for an Advanced GAL: Excellence in Child Custody Cases Project Outcome Evaluator Contractor.
Background
The Advanced GAL: Excellence in Child Custody Cases project seeks to strengthen court response to children living with domestic violence, domestic violence-associated stalking, and/or child sexual abuse. The project seeks to promote excellence and advanced competencies of GALs in contested custody cases in Ohio, create access to advanced GAL work as to inform judicial decision-making by accurately identifying cases where these safety concerns exist, and establish a shared understanding among courts and partners of the relative rates of these concerns in contested custody cases.
Scope of Work
The Ohio CASA/GAL Association is seeking an Outcome Evaluator to develop an outcome evaluation tool and methodology for this project. The contractor will implement outcome evaluation, compile and analyze outcome data, and modify evaluation as needed.
Applicant Eligibility
Preference will be given to contractors who bring experience in collaborative projects on domestic violence, child abuse, and other relevant subject matter to support accurate analysis of data.
Maximum Contract Amount
This is a contract position compensated at a rate of $81.25/hour with a maximum of 48 hours in Year One ($3,900), 40 hours in Year Two ($3,250), and 48 hours in Year Three ($3,900).
