Baltimore Area Evaluators (BAE) -Baltimore's local AEA affiliate- is inviting you and your members to join us for our next free virtual workshop coming up next Tuesday 2/17 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm EST!

 

Co-sponsored in collaboration with Evaluation Association, St. Louis (EASL), we are hosting: Going Out on Your Own! Introduction to Independent Consulting. 

 

Facilitated by Matt Feldman, PhD, Principal Researcher for Goshen Educational Consulting and President of Evaluation Association of St. Louis (EASL), this lively interactive virtual session will reveal the simple, but essential design and start-up skills needed for success as an independent research consultant. The session will provide an overview of topics including: “Do I have what it takes?”, “What’s my Niche?”, and “How do I Market?”. The session also will include valuable samples, worksheets, and insider tips.

This webinar will help develop participant's evaluator competencies in the following areas:

·   Advocating for the field of evaluation and its value.

·   Aspects of the planning and management domain, which includes networking and developing proposals. 

·   Fosters positive relationships for professional practice and evaluation use.

We believe this workshop would be of great interest and value to your members who are either curious about taking steps towards independent consulting or are seeking advice and networking opportunities regarding their independent consulting work.
