Description of position: This position is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring a system of quality management at Netcare. Implements and coordinates program evaluation and quality improvement functions within all Netcare programs, including monitoring programs for compliance with quality standards, implementing tools used for programs and service evaluation, and organizing data collection and information analysis. Serves as Clients Rights Officer for the Corporation. Also serves as Corporate Compliance Officer and coordinates internal aspects designed to identify possible fraud, waste or abuse as well as external management functions of audits, regulatory entities, etc.
BS/BA degree (preferably in Business Administration, Statistics or Mathematics) plus three years experience in quality improvement or statistical analysis. Experience in a behavioral health care setting is preferred.
The candidate must be a licensed clinician, Registered Nurse, or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) with at least one year of quality improvement or utilization management experience, preferably in behavioral health, OR, have a bachelor's degree with two years of quality improvement or utilization management experience, OR have a Master's degree in a health care related field OR have three years quality improvement or utilization management experience. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office products and experience in health care data reporting.
