Organization Summary

TheCleveland Foodbank is the largest hunger relief agency in Northeast Ohio, providing more than 34 million pounds of food annually as well as support to
more than 600 local hunger centers and programs that provide food to people in need.

Position Summary

The Research Coordinator monitors a wide array of research publications and sources for applicable studies on hunger and hunger-related issues and writes summaries
of key studies. In collaboration with Directors of Advocacy and Communication, develops ongoing strategies for disseminating internal and external research to the public. Manages data collection for the Cleveland Foodbank portion of the quadrennial Hunger in America study, the largest study of domestic food assistance in the United States. Makes educational presentations to community groups as assigned.

Qualifications Necessary

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. One to three years experience organizing research information for projects/presentations. Experience
presenting data & public speaking. Previous experience in a nonprofit organization preferred. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent writing and public speaking skills. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
