Nonprofit consulting firm based in Columbus, Ohio seeks to contract with a freelance grant writer to provide additional research and writing support to this growing business. Clients served by the consulting firm include health and human service, education, arts and culture, and community-based organizations so candidates must be able to write for different sectors and types of grantors including government agencies, corporations, and foundations.

The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail, exceptional writing skills, and timeliness in meeting workflow priorities and deadlines.  Candidates must understand the grants process from research and analysis to reporting, and all the steps in between.

Contract hours will vary based on deadlines but anticipate approximately 40 hours per month at an hourly rate.
