Summary of Duties As part of the Center on Education & Training for Employment (CETE), College of Education and Human Ecology, assists in workforce development grants in standards and curriculum development for various state, national, and international projects across areas within career-technical and adult basic education; coordinates the Career Field Technical Content Standards (CFTCS) project in collaboration with the project manager; performs copy editing and quality control processes; reads, evaluates, and edits standards and confers with writers regarding changes in content, style or organization, or publication; explains what information means and how it can inform the standards revision; assists in preparations for various CFTCS meetings, including organizing materials and facilitating processes for interviews and meetings; gathers, analyzes, summarizes, synthesizes, and disseminates standards and curriculum-related information in reports; writes articles for center publications; evaluates needs, defines problems, develops online and/or face-to-face curriculum, and assists in implementation of procedures and studies in career-technical and adult basic education; maintains project records; and assists with grant proposal development and center- and team-related meetings and communication and marketing activities.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in writing/editing and instructional design; demonstrated experience as a professional writer; experience with gathering, interpreting, synthesizing, and presenting information; documented experience and skill desired in: group facilitation, tech documentation/report writing, project planning and administration, and organizational skills; experience working on contract and grant funded research projects; considerable experience/skill using MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, survey design software, graphics software.
Desired Qualifications Education, English or Communications degree; experience with and interest in workforce development, online curriculum development, marketing and promotions; teaching and/or tutoring.
Target Salary $37,000 - $42,000 Annually
