Public Health Evaluator- Clinic and Financial
We are looking for an experienced consultant to evaluate programs at health agencies throughout the
state of Ohio. Background in healthcare settings, work with accounting/finance a plus. The ideal
candidate will be a self-motivated and energetic with great interpersonal and data collection skills.
Position is expected to be part-time for 8 months with some travel required.
Responsibilities:
. Working closely with public health administrators, nurses, and clerical staff
. Observation, documentation, and workflow mapping
. Stakeholder interviews
. Survey design
. Travel throughout Ohio, with a base in Columbus- all expenses reimbursed
. Interacting with Ohio Department of Health in Columbus
. Working under the supervision of a manager
Requirements:
. Experience with public health clinic, community health center, medical office infrastructure
. Coursework in statistics or financial analysis
. Well organized and detailed
. Self-motivated, working with minimal supervision
. Knowledge of medical terminology or medical coding/billing a plus
. Comprehensive report preparation a plus
