Description of Position:  The University of Cincinnati (UC) Institute for Policy Research (IPR) is seeking a Junior Research Associate (JRA) to coordinate and administer funded evaluation projects. The person hired will be part of a team of professional researchers in an established academic research organization that engages in objective analysis, research and evaluation of public policy issues.

This is a grant funded position.

This position will be part of IPR's research team and will assist in the coordination and administration of a variety of evaluation projects. Activities will include involvement in processes associated with implementing evaluation research projects, including coordination and conduct of interviews, assisting Principal Investigators and Project Managers with meeting project timelines, interviewing schedules and data submittal, data analysis, data reporting, submission of data reports and other activities.  The candidate must have research expertise in a substantive area(s), such as education, health, urban planning, regional economics or another public policy area. At the present time, particular areas of interest are health policy and social service delivery.  

Education/Experience Req:  Masters degree at time of appointment in evaluation research, social sciences research, social work or health related research.   Minimum of three years of experience in evaluation research.  Demonstrated history of involvement in the coordination and administration of funded evaluation research projects.
